As we encounter new journeys in the wonderful world of parenting, we must remember our main goal: to help transform our perfect little caterpillars to independent and beautiful butterflies. Without your guidance and support, your children will struggle more than they need while learning to navigate their world. Therefore, parents and families are the key to their success. Together, we can help our children soar into beautiful butterflies.

Our Kids are All Different

We are no longer raising kids who are just like us. In fact, our daughters are being raised in very different worlds and there is only an 8 year age difference. Our end goal of raising successful, independent children will remain the same. However, our strategies and day-to-day encounters will vary from child to child as the world is ever changing. There is no one size fits all, nor is there a magic solution for parenting. Consequently, we learn as we go and we learn together.

As the world changes, we too need to change with it. Our children need us to grow with them and the world around them. But here’s the thing, there really is no right answer out there. You need to do what works for your children, your family, and you at that moment. Next year, next month, even tomorrow what worked today might no longer work and we grow again, adding new strategies to our toolbelts. So grow your toolbelt, gather your strategies, and make your life a little more simple and enjoyable.

In our technology advancing world, experts estimate that between 2/3 and 17/20 of jobs our children will hold do not even exist today. How do we prepare our children for the unknown?
