How I Recommend Making the Most of this FREE Guide
Print out the checklist, items to bring, Child IEP Info sheets, and Desires and Concerns worksheet.
Begin by brainstorming your Desires, Concerns, and Questions. If you feel comfortable, share these with your child’s case manager and ask for input from him or her.
Next, fill out the Child IEP Info sheet with where your child is functioning right now and what your child will need to make the most growth possible. Go back and add to your Desires, Concerns, and Questions page.
Use the Items to Bring and Checklist to prepare before you leave the house. Keep the checklist handy throughout the meeting to ensure a successful meeting, and finally, use the checklist to check in and organize after the IEP meeting.
